Central is the central business district on Hong Kong Island. Supposedly, the “island side” buildings make this the most beautiful skyline in the world. We saw it (from the “Kowloon side” during the day and all lit-up during the night, and I have to agree with that assessment. Unlike other cities with skyscrapers jutting out, the buildings here seemed to be built with a purpose, each one accentuating the spectacular view. We took the Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak, but with the rains, visibility was almost zero from the viewing deck.
